LET'S START WITH THE 10 TIPS TO APPROACH A GOOD AND APPRECIATIVE ESSAY.

Essay Writing is a  integral part of examinations. It is generally meant to test the ability to think and structure the thoughts systematically. 

I will explain here how to approach a topic and accomplish it with ease .When you come to know the 'What' ,the 'How' becomes a piece of cake. 

Essays can be of various types. For now let's categorize it under four heads:- 

1)Argumentative Essays - For me this is the simplest option and most marks fetching. In this we are supposed to choose a side and write either for or against the motion. 

2)Narrative Essays - This kind of essay asks you to narrate an incident. The easiest and the best way to approach it is 'The 5Ws and an H' formula. That is,you have to ask yourself What,Where,When,Why,Who and How as related to the incident that you are talking about. 

3)Descriptive Essays- This kind of essays asks you to describe something or somewhere, it might be an experience or a visit to a place.

4)Reflective Essays- This kind of Essays asks you to write on the given thought-provoking topics.It asks you to justify or talk about a given statement and give its relevance according to the present times.

Just after we have chosen the topic ,it's time to put pieces together. 

What are the tips which works for all?

Let's look at them-

1)Write a plan ,its the must. (Although doing it roughly)This will save your time and make your ideas appear coherent. 

2)Begin with a quote,or an effective statement. 

3)On idea one paragraph,do not overdo. Its a complete no-no. 

4)Stick to the same tense throughout 

5)Stick to the word limit

6)Smooth flow of sentences is important, use linkers like nevertheless, however, therefore etc.

7)Maintain the chronology of the composition, writing is sequence is a goodness of an essay. 

8)Write short sentences, this will help you with spellings,grammer and punctuation. 

9)Choose the topic which is familiar to you,use the topic which you can express better.

10)Introduction and conclusion hold equal importance

Ending with a quote is an option too.
